Grammatica/Common mistakes exam/PREPOSITIONS

Le preposizioni inglesi sono particelle fondamentali, indispensabile all’interno di una frase per creare un legame fra parole o concetti. Le preposizioni inglesi formano una connessione reciproca tra due termini o con una frase.
Le proposizioni inglesi possono indicare ad esempio un luogo o una direzione (andare a casa, vengo dal Brasile, sono sul treno), un tempo (Arriverò in ritardo, nascerà tra due mesi, si sveglia all’alba) o molti altri concetti (Ha più di 70 anni, parlavano di politica).

Le preposizioni inglesi, a differenza di quelle italiane, sono solo semplici e non articolate, perciò vedrete che con un po’ di pratica le padroneggerete perfettamente.
Per iniziare provate a terminare i seguenti esercizi in inglese.

ANSWERS

1) I’m going to Frankfurt on the end of May.

Correct: I’m going to Frankfurt AT the end of May.

Correct: It’s time to think OF her family.

4) I’m satisfied from this mobile.

Correct: I’m satisfied WITH this mobile phone.

5) He’s happy for that.

Correct: He’s happy ABOUT that.

6) They’re planning a trip to Sicily this summer. (Correct.)

7) She wants to search a new job.

Correct: She wants to search FOR a new job.

8 ) It’s near from my house.

Correct: It’s near TO my house.

Correct: It’s near my house.
